Dear Friends of Art in the Barn,
Over the years, Art in the Barn has blessed us with loyal fans, amazing volunteers, beautiful music and art and ever-growing friendships. What more could one ask? Our thanks go out to all of you who have been involved and supportive in so many ways.
It was with great difficulty that Bill and Anne made the decision to limit the number of performances in 2011 to one – our ever-popular Gypsy Swing Festival – to be held September 16 and 17. There are many reasons for this decision but mostly, there are a number of major projects that need our attention during late spring and throughout the summer. Those who have attended performances in the barn during a rain storm know that it’s definitely time to replace that roof. We also want to make the facilities and the grounds safer and more accessible for the patrons, artists, our boarders and their beautiful horses. After this summer, we will reassess the number of performances that we’re able to handle in the future.
